Eating out in Seminyak (1)

Love this retirement!

Made totally of various shutters - original!!!

Great choice George!

Spectacular sunset

Cheers

How many cups of tea????

Tea or not to tea?

Is this how you hold them?

George had done her research before she arrived and suggested that Potato Head was the place to eat. It apparently had good food and wonderful sunsets so we rolled up at 7 pm ish and waited to be seated. The actual building, if you can call it that, is a semicircle made of old shutters of various shapes, sizes and colours. Once inside you have a choice of 3 restaurants - French, International and Asian. The restaurants are situated around the edge and the middle has grass, where revellers sit, and a swimming pool all looking out onto the beach. We chose Asian and were given a comprehensive drinks menu! Now for those who know Ray well may be surprised that he is drinking tea - has he reformed you may ask yourselves - (I'll leave that to your imagination as he ordered long island iced tea!!!) George helped us through the menu and some delicious, but relatively expensive food soon arrived. As the sun went down we realised why this was a popular place!
